Announcement: Stewart-Tanis Campaign Ineligibility
In the interest of transparency and accountability, the Election Board will make public every time it disqualifies a candidate or a candidate has been found ineligible to run.
The Stewart-Tanis campaign has been found ineligible to run for the Presidential/Executive Vice President Ticket. Due to candidate(s) not meeting the minimum eligibility requirements as outlined in the SGA Constitution Section 5.3, the SGA Election Board ruled that this ticket was ineligible to run for office. This decision was appealed, and the SGA Appeals Board has upheld the SGA Election Board's decision and released that decision to the Election Board on March 26, 2019.
