SGA Election Rule Violation Complaint
The Election Board recently received an election complaint against the Ramesh/Hegbe campaign which alleged violations of the following rules:
"If a candidate or supporter is aware that a student is waiting to or in the act of voting, the candidate or supporter may not approach within 10 feet of the voter to provide information, solicit votes, or attempt to view the voter’s selections."
After careful review of the complaint, and reviewing the election board rules as well as the information provided regarding the alleged incident, we did not find any evidence of rule-breaking. The Election Board voted to dismiss this complaint.
Thank you.
