Candidate Responses:
1. Political Science major with extensive knowledge about government, both national and local. SGA representative in High School. Judicial intern with the Honorable Wanda K. Heard of the Maryland Circuit Court. Volunteer during O'Malley campaign. Experience in public speaking and leadership, ex. Vice President of Maryland DECA.

2. I hope to be the voice of the students. A representative that brings to the table issues that not only are of concern to the students, but directly and/or indirectly affect the students. I hope to create more areas for student parking, create policies to lower textbook prices/costs, and create a forum where significant students issues may be discussed and noteworthy school announcements may be announced in a way to better notify/inform the student population.

3. I strive to accomplish my goals. I do not set the bar too high as to cause disappointment, but just high enough to provide results. I am dedicated and attentive, and will work to listen to the students' concerns regarding certain matters and help to alleviate their worries regarding them. I am young, and may make mistakes, but will stay organized and disciplined to an extent to minimize the possibility of errors.

Brief Platform Statement:

  • Create more areas for student parking, so that less time is wasted looking for parking that turns into being late to class.
  • Lower textbook costs
  • Bring concerns of students regarding academic and school policies to the attention of administration
