Whitney Torchia

    Whitney is a freshman at UMBC interested in the Pre-pharmacy program without a declared major as of yet. She is a First Year Ambassador and hopes to participate and give input on her views this year, as well as gain a lot of experience and knowledge that will allow her to work towards her goal of improving this campus in the upcoming years. As a member of C. Milton Wright High School's class of 2007, Whitney served as the Vice President of Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Class Council. She was also an active member of her SGA for all four years of high school, co-chairing in blood drives, and other events. In addition, she sang in concert choir and played varsity tennis for all four years, and was captain of the tennis team. Currently at UMBC Whitney is also in the Pre-pharmacy club, and the tennis club.
