Sameera Syed

    Sameera is currently a freshman majoring in Biology and a First Year Ambassador for the Senate of the SGA. She is a member of the Meyerhoff Scholarship Program, a representative of the SGA on the First Year Council, and serves as the Publicity Chair for Oxfam at UMBC.

    As a First Year Ambassador, Sameera is eager to work with the Senators, David Hoffman (the Coordinator for Leadership and Engagement Initiatives for the Office of Student Life), and all other members of the SGA to implement changes for the prosperity of UMBC and to actively improve the college experience at our campus. She looks forward to staying involved in the SGA for the remainder of her college career.
