    This is Heather's first year at UMBC and she is very excited to be one of the First Year Ambassadors for the SGA! Currently she is majoring in Biochemistry in hopes of someday going into genetic research. Heather is from Mount Airy, Maryland, and she graduated from Linganore High School in Frederick. There she was involved in her Student Government as secretary of her graduating class, National Honor Society, Vocal Ensemble, Concert Choir, as well as the musicals. Heather enjoys just hanging out with her friends, singing, listening to music, watching Grey’s Anatomy or General Hospital and all around having a good time. Here at UMBC she is not only involved with SGA but BioCOM and First Year Council. She looks forward to getting more involved with the SGA and hopes she'll be able to be involved till she graduates!
