ben Kitterman

    Ben is a junior at UMBC and is a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Though he has been involved in SGA throughout his time at UMBC, this is his first year in the Senate. Majoring in Political Science, Ben is also a Sondheim Public Affairs Scholar. His freshman year he served as one of the first ever First Year Ambassadors and helped to bring the perspective of a first year student into the House of Organizations. A 15 year survivor of childhood cancer, Ben also volunteers with the American Cancer Society, educating teens on cancer and the dangers of smoking. Ben is a graduate of Damascus High School in Damascus Maryland, where he served as class president a number of years and as the SGA president his senior year. One of Ben's goals as a Senator is to bring more school spirit and pride to UMBC.
