ResLife Student ExperiencesWe believe that it is necessary for every student to have all the support they deserve. As such, any student who has problems with an RA, a CD, or a DS should feel free to report their side of the story. All that has to be done is for you to describe the problem you are having or a specific incident on this site. This information will be received by an SGA member who will contact you to find out if you will like your concerns brought before the Residential Life staff anonymously or with your name attached. Students have the choice of maintaining their privacy at all times. Although attaching your name brings with it the credibility of a known party, the fact that we verify all entries as coming from students allows us to bring these issues to ResLife in a verifiable manner even when the reporting student asks us not to attach their name. We would like all students to know that their privacy is of the utmost importance to us, which why the information sent to us is handled by a student member of the SGA. Please understand that this tool won’t serve its intended purpose if it is not used by students. In the past, the SGA has had incidents where students approached us with incidents that have been bothersome to them with regards to their RA, CD or DS. Though these issues were brought to ResLife, many were dismissed due to the fact that there wasn’t written proof from the student involved. Thus, we welcome all students to bring forth their concerns of whatever inconvenient situations they find themselves with a ResLife staff member and report them. This way your voice will be heard and the will be problem solved. To continue, click the link below, enter your myUMBC username and password, and fill out the form that follows.
