Student Resource Website
For current and prospective students, there lacks a customer service aspect of obtaining information about any part of the university. A small group of SGA members and interested students are working to develop a Student Resource Website which would serve as an all-in-one resource for information and a center for student advocacy. The goal of the website is to serve as a home page for students, serving as an interactive portal into the university as seen by the student. Features of the website will include the "FAQ"-like area branching over all aspects of the university, a 24-hr email response system for any question or concern, a forum for students to discuss hot topics relavent to campus affairs, "Today's Events", a weekly student/organization spotlight, streaming web cams inside and out of The Commons, weather, and much more. There is much research and planning occurring now and hopefully the site will be up and running by Fall 2005.
