Sarah Khan

    Sarah is a Biology major and is very excited to serve as the Assistant Director of the Office of Diversity Affairs at UMBC. While in high school, Sarah began the Diversity club which in the first week was 30 members strong and organized many successful events such as the Bel Air High school Food Fest, and Multicultural Fashion and Talent Showcase. The event as well as the club gained not only the schools attention but the community as well making its way into the local newspaper, the Aegis. She has been dedicated to bringing cultural awareness throughout high school and anticipates bringing the same experiences to UMBC as well. She is also excited to serve as the Events Coordinator for the UMBC Muslim Student Association and hopes to help make the events just as exciting, if not more, than the previous years. She is striving to get into the medical field and possibly through time into pediatrics.
