Philip Graff hails from Manalapan, NJ. He chose to attend UMBC because of the strong reputation of its science programs. He studies physics and mathematics and is Vice President for the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity and the Society of Physics Students and participates in BooYa Ultimate Frisbee. He is a member of Pi Mu Epsilon, the Golden Key Honors Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Jewish Student Union. This past summer Philip worked for the UMBC Physics Department in the Joint Center for Astrophysics, where he developed a computer model for radiation from types of active galaxies. He looks forward to taking on the challenges of SGA Treasurer and making the event planning process as painless as possible. |
