Betty Irungu

     Betty was born in Nairobi, Kenya and currently lives in Baltimore County, Maryland. She is a graduate of Towson High School's Law and Public Policy Program in Towson, Maryland and is currently pursuing a major in Politcal Science and a double minor in Spanish and Legal Policy. She is a member of the Sondheim Public Affairs Program and the Honor's College. She is an active member of the UMBC Gospel Choir,the African Students Association, as well as a conversation partner for the English Language Center. Betty is looking forward to her first year in the SGA and to making a lasting impact in the Office of Diversity Affairs.
