Amir Christopher Najmi

    Chris Najmi is a native Texan who has been raised in Columbia, Maryland for as long as he can remember. He made the decision to attend UMBC because it was a very serious school that had a sterling reputation in the sciences. He is currently studying physics and mathematics and is the Treasurer of the Society of Physics Students. He is also a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon math honors society and the UMBC Honors College. Over the past summer Chris managed the Clary's Forest Pool in Columbia, where he has been a lifeguard for the past six years, and was the head coach of the C/H/S Sundevils neighborhood swim team. Chris is looking forward to his senior year at UMBC, and God willing, the opportunity to audit your student organization with a meat hook.
